Capital Water Systems carry out short term flow and load surveys within wastewater treatment works, wastewater networks and large-scale industrial facilities.
It is important to understand the characteristics of the wastewater being delivered to a treatment plant and a flow and load survey can save a company vast sums of money on their water treatment bills.
These are an essential requirement for wastewater treatment works and industrial facilities.
All works are carried out to Irish Water Technical Document – “Wastewater Network Short Term Flow and Rainfall Survey Standard” and WRc “A Guide to Short Term Flow Surveys of Sewer Systems”.
Services Provided
We provide the equipment and service to clients who have a requirement to provide data on loadings to Treatment systems. All sampling, storage and transport is carried out to current best practice to ensure that samples arrive at the Laboratory in optimum condition for analysis.
Site Survey
Capital Water Systems carry out site-specific assessments to allow us to advise on type and best placement of monitoring equipment to fulfil client requirements.
Installation & Maintenance
Our experienced site teams will install flow and rainfall data loggers along with composite sampling equipment, daily/weekly calibration checks are carried out on the equipment to ensure smooth operation during the monitoring period.
Sample Collection & Preservation
Once samples are collected – they are refrigerated and delivered to our accredited lab on the same day.
Data Delivery
Our fleet of telemetry enabled flow monitors upload data on a daily basis – clients can login to our interface and review flow data in virtual real-time – this can prove invaluable for complex networks where storm water infiltration can affect the load being delivered to treatment plants.
Final Reporting
Once the survey is complete by Capital Water Systems, we will produce a full detailed factual report on the survey for our client, along with interpretive analysis of the data gathered.
